Scene Five: The Water Peach

The room became a slow, predatory carousel as row after row of men ascended the stage. Each took their turn circling Annie, their voices a low, buzzing hum of appraisal and explicit fantasy. I watched a silver-haired industrialist from Düsseldorf lean in, his cigar smoke curling around her bound form as he whispered something that made her eyes widen before she squeezed them shut. Another, a tech magnate half my age but with twice the entitlement, simply stared at her exposed cunt, licking his lips audibly before declaring, “I’d pay ten grand just to watch you sleep.”

Penny pressed against me, her heat a familiar comfort. “Look at her,” she murmured, her breath warm against my ear. “She’s absorbing it. Every filthy word. You can see it in her cheeks.” She was right. Annie’s entire body was flushed a deep, feverish pink, a blush that started at her chest and climbed all the way to her hairline. And every few moments, her eyes—dazed and glassy—would flicker toward us, toward me, before darting away in a fresh wave of shameful arousal.

“She’s thinking about you,” Penny purred, her hand finding my thigh and squeezing. “Wondering if you’re enjoying the show. Wondering what you’re thinking while all these old men tell her exactly how they’ll play her. Who will take her to his room tonight.”

What I was thinking was that I’d never wanted her more. The vulnerability, the exposure, the way she was being verbally devoured. It was the most potent aphrodisiac I’d ever known.

Finally, the MC’s voice cut through the murmur. “That concludes our viewing, gentlemen! Let’s hear it for our new young bitch!”

The curtains swept closed to a roar of approval, the sound crashing against the velvet like a wave. Behind them, I knew the Club’s handlers rushing to strip her from her leotard, to begin the frantic transformation for the next act.

“So?” the MC boomed, grinning out at us. “What did we think of Miss Ainsworth?”

The room erupted.

“I’d molest her all night!”

“Have Viktor break her in!”

“I want to hear her scream when she comes!”

Penny laughed, a low, throaty sound, and hooked her arm through mine. “Drink. Now.”

We moved to the opulent bar at the rear of the room, the air thick with cigar smoke and boasting. I ordered a whiskey, neat, and Penny a champagne cocktail. We leaned against the polished mahogany, and she flipped open the program to the next scenario.

“Water Peach,” she read, her voice dripping with amusement. “Annie in a swimsuit is joined by her Bumkeep in water.” She looked up at me, her eyes alight. “What do you suppose that means? Viktor giving her a swimming lesson? Or just holding her under until she agrees to whatever he wants?”

“Knowing Viktor?” I took a long swallow of whiskey, the burn doing little to quell the heat in my gut. “He’ll probably molest the fuck out of the kid while he does it. I don’t think he’s supposed to fuck her during the showcase though.
